Sadly, the class has received notification that Steve Hitz passed away from lung cancer on July 7, 2019. Survivors include his beloved wife, Elizabeth Hitz; daughter, Chamaine Junk; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann Kathryn Bartlett and John Bartlett; 2 grandchildren also survive.
