Thanks for posting, Sandy...Keith was one of the first people I met at SHS in 7th grade ...I was "the new kid on the block".... Just having moved from PA ... He was a good and kind guy....so glad he made it to our 50th....remember him fondly......
I was also delighted that Keith could make the reunion. He and I grew up in the same neighborhood (Lauderdale Manors) and I not only played football with him but rode to school in his car. In conversations with him at the reunion, I learned of his up and down life. I will miss him but will cherish my time with him both in school and the reunion.
I first met Keith in little league and he became a good friend. I played varsity football and was next to him on the line. He was a great coach for me and I truly relied on his calls in a football game. At the reunion he stated that the greatest time in his life was being a part of our championship team and the great education he got at SHS. I will miss him. Bob Ferris
